Michael Maske, born and raised in Sussex, Wisconsin now calls Arizona home. He served twelve years in the United States Military, first in the Army National Guard as a Behavioral Sciences Specialist. He finished his military career in the Air Force Reserves, serving in 2003-2004 during Operation Iraqi Freedom as a crew chief on the KC-135 Aircraft. He is a proud graduate of the Arizona State University (ASU) Hugh Downs School of Human Communication. Currently, he the President of ZM Medical, a medical device distribution company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. His company focuses on representing unique and niche manufacturers of medical products for the Hospital, ASC, Long-Term Care and Nursing Home markets. Maske is the founder of the Nursing Success Institute (NSI), and has spent years studying and applying the principles of personal growth and development. In building his own successes, his goal is to now share it, specifically through his work with nurses. The most lasting place that change can be made is through the Safe Patient Handling and Movement legislation that is now beginning to be passed across the country.
