Eight-time #1 best-selling author of faith based post-apocalyptic fiction on Amazon Kindle. I am a husband, father, grandfather and most recently a great-grandfather. I was born and raised in central Indiana but currently live in New England. My wife of more than 48 years, Karen works alongside me, writing and editing my work. We lived in Russia for more than twelve years, serving as missionaries. We also founded and directed a small drug rehabilitation program in Indiana. I have held a variety of jobs, including store clerk, meat-cutter, factory worker, small business manager, furniture Installer, pastor, missionary, social worker, prison chaplain and now author. I have desired to write books since I was a child. In 2021 I took the plunge with the encouragement of my mentor. All my current books have been #1 Best Sellers in several Amazon categories. The first book, Indiana Fall is a tale of how a prison chaplain, and his friends and family members deal with an EMP apocalypse. Indiana Fall is a four-part series. I also plan to spin off a second series that will continue the story of some of the family members and their continued struggle to survive in a fallen world. In my writing I like to ask questions that ask what motivates people. How would my characters react under extremely stressful situations and does their faith or lack of faith play a part? What does this mean to us as readers? My writing contains religious/spiritual themes, but I do not write specifically "Christian" books, rather, I am a follower of Christ who authors books.
