Mr. Watson is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University,author of the books "Supply Chain Network Design" and "Managerial Analytics." He is also a partner at Opex Analytics. Mr. Watson teaches graduate level courses at Northwestern University in the both McCormick School of Engineering (Master in Engineering Management and the Master of Science in Analytics) and the Kellogg School of Management (MBA). He has been teaching at Northwestern since 1999. The courses cover such topics as optimization, lean, supply chain, operations management, and analytics and managerial statistics. Opex Analytics provides analytics and optimization software and services to to help companies make better decisions. Mr. Watson completed his Ph.D. at Northwestern University in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences. He maintains several well-read blogs on optimization, analytics, and supply chain topics.
