Michele LaMar-Thomas

Michele LaMar-Thomas is a poet and writer living in Ohio. Brown Girl Rising: A Poetry Memoir is her debut poetry collection. Her work has been featured on Medium and in Empowerment Magazine. She received her Master of TESOL (Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages) degree from Ohio Dominican University. She retired from Columbus City Schools in 2023.
