Miguel Angel Pérez Arteaga works in graphic design and advertising communication as Batidora de Ideas. He is the author and illustrator of ten children's stories published in Spain, Mexico and Brazil. His books have been recognized by the National Reading Program, the Reading Promotion Program of the State of Serena and the National Library Program in Mexico; by the Ministry of Education of Chile; the Banco del Libro of Venezuela; the Sistema d'Adquisició Bibliotecària of the Regional Government of Catalonia and the Libraries of the Community of Madrid (Spain). He is the author of the books "How Ideas Are Born: Graphic Designers and Creative Processes", "Isidro Ferrer: About Nothing", published by Hoaki Books, and "Creatividad: curiosidad, motivación y juego" (Creativity: Curiosity, Motivation and Play)" published by Prensas de la Universidad de Zaragoza. He participated in the exhibitions “Ready to Read. Book design from Spain”, a selection of the best books published in Spain (New York, Washington, Mexico, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Madrid and Lisbon) and “Ilustrísimos: Overview of Children and Young Adults Illustration in Spain” at the Bologna Book Fair. He was a Finalist in the Daniel Gil Awards (Spain) and in the Biennial of Illustration of Amarante (Portugal). He has held numerous solo and group painting, photography and illustration exhibitions.
