Mikael Shainkman

Mikael Shainkman is a historian, podcaster, tour guide and coffee drinker. You can follow him on Twitter @shainkman. He's the host of a podcast dedicated to Scandinavian history—cleverly enough called the Scandinavian History Podcast. Shainkman has a Ph.D. from Lund University, Sweden. He has worked almost ten years as a researcher at Tel Aviv University as well as a lecturer at various places, such as the Avshalom Institute, Yad Vashem and the Swedish Theological Institute in Jerusalem. He also works as a tour guide in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) as well as in Spain.
