Mikaila Mariel Lemonik Arthur is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Rhode Island College, where she teaches courses in research methods, the sociology of law, justice studies, race and ethnicity, and introductory sociology. She has also taught at Hamilton College, Queens College of the City University of New York, and New York University, where she earned her Ph.D. in sociology. She writes about social movements, social change, higher education, and Asian American studies and has been published in a wide variety of academic journals and edited volumes.
