Milton H. Marquis is a Emeritus Professor at Florida State University. He has published four textbooks and numerous articles on economics, and has authored two historical fictions: Mary Bentham, Student, 1964-1968: A Historical Novel and The Exiled Leprechaun and the Irish Patriot: A Tale of 19th Century Ireland; two crime novels: The Artifice of Lady: A Novel of Redemption and Sublime Tragedy: The Life and Death of Laura Westcott; an adventure story: Encounters with Jack: A Young Man's Sojourns Across North America; and a nonfiction memoir: Sea to Shining Sea: A Second Sailing. He lives with this wife, Ann, in Tallahassee, Florida.
