Miriam Akhtar is a positive psychologist and wellbeing consultant. She is an expert on the science of happiness and was one of a hundred experts to contribute to the World Book of Happiness and the World Book of Hope. She is a keynote speaker with previous invitations from the G200 Youth Summit, the EU and the University of Oxford. Miriam works as a trainer and coach with organisations, businesses and individuals. She runs workshops in wellbeing, resilience, growth mindset, positive ageing and the menopause mindset. She is an educator and 'trainer's trainer' skilling up professionals in the practice of positive psychology. Miriam is on the faculty of the Executive Masters in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Lisbon. She was described as 'one of the names in wellbeing that you need to know' by Top Santé magazine and has featured in many newspapers and other publications including the Telegraph, Guardian, Daily Mail, Sunday Times, Psychologies and Men's Health.
