Madeleine is an author, illustrator and linguist. She has dedicated her life to foreign languages - studying them, teaching them and now writing books for others to learn them. She truly believes we can all be linguists. Her language learning method in her books is to teach only the essential language in bite-size chunks, while making it as colourful and visual as possible. Learning a language with Madeleine's books is enjoyable and achievable. Madeleine is a self taught illustrator. She's been illustrating for over 10 years now and it still remains one of her biggest passions. Before starting to illustrate her books, she illustrated educational flashcards. Over the years she's experimented with different styles, but the recurring themes in her illustration work are cute, simple and fun. Madeleine has combined her passions and skills into creating language books that are not only jam packed with learning value, but are also beautifully illustrated.
