Mitch Katz

Born into a family of collectors, Mitch has gone from stamp collecting to coin collecting to watch collecting. For over twenty-five years Mitch has been collecting mechanical watches from across the globe. Along the way, he has met interesting people, ate melty cheese and devoured great chocolate. As his knowledge and experiences in the world of watches expanded so did his collection. Out of desire to educate his sons about his passion and his collection, Mitch embarked on a project to write about the stories of the watches. How they came to his possession, what they mean to him and what adventures he had along the way. During the course of the creation of this first book, Mitch discovered a love for writing. As this first book was in the process of production, he wrote a second book, this time a murder mystery involving watches and watchmaking. This book is planned for release late Spring or early Summer 2025. Further books of fiction and non-fiction, all involving watches, are planned. Stay tuned for more information.
