Moshe Ziv

关于作者

Moshe Ziv (Zisovitch) immigrated to Israel, raised a family and built an agricultural farm in Moshav Bnei Zion. He never forgot his past. At the request of his wife Nika, and later of his son Ronen and daughter Vardit, he gradually began to tell his story. At times he contributed to the Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day ceremony. It was not until 50 years had passed since those distant days in his town of Miscoltz in Hungary, where the hungry Moshe-Yankel with his long peyes had wandered the streets, that he decided to put the entire story to paper. "Buttons in my soup" is the first book written by Moshe. His second book, "There Were No Trombones Here" (1996) that was published in Hebrew, presents the story of his absorption in Israel as a Holocaust survivor. Moshe passed away in 2008.
