Mostafa A. Borahay

Mostafa Borahay, MD, PhD, MBA is Associate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, US. He serves as the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and the Director of the Division of Comprehensive Gynecology and Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. As a Physician Scientist, Dr. Borahay focuses on Gynecology and specifically Uterine Fibroids, the most common gynecologic tumor. He performs complex robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. He also leads a research team at Johns Hopkins University and is the Principal Investigator of a multi-institutional NIH-funded research grant to develop novel treatments for uterine fibroids. Dr. Borahay authored more than 50 Scientific Papers, books, and has been invited for lectures in the US, UK, Germany and other countries. He received multiple awards inclduing the John P. McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine Award.
