Carmela Muzio Dormani, PhD. is a dancer, sociologist, and multimedia creative dedicated to scholarship and creative work that centers community, justice, and radical humanity. She believes that movement has the power to connect us, allowing us to shape and re-form the stories we tell about ourselves and our social world. Her work has been published in Dance Magazine, Latino Studies, and the Journal of Popular Culture.
