Mr. ChickenBiscuits

Robert (Bob) Kennedy (aka Mr. ChickenBiscuits) writes and illustrates the popular Sam the Dog picture book series for kids ages 4 to 8. Bob knows this age group well, having taught Sunday School to young kids for over 25 years. Bob first wrote about Sam for his younger sister and brother as they learned to read. Years later he read the same stories to his sons, and today he dedicates new “Sam books” to his six grandchildren. Having lived and worked in France for 3 years, Bob also collaborates with a French colleague to publish the latest titles in French as well. A retired electrical engineer, Bob lives near Nashville with his wife and their two dogs. Besides writing, Bob loves to visit local classrooms to read the latest Sam story and give the kids copies of the book—and treats. Bob loves to hear from readers of all ages.
