Mr Peter Hewitt

Pete Hewitt is an Australian pastor with a unique ability to explain deep spiritual concepts in the simplest of terms. At the age of 18, he had a radical encounter with God which led him to a life time of ministry building healthy communities of faith all over Australia, from Kings Cross in Sydney’s red-light district to Cairns, Broome, Tasmania and the Sunshine Coast. Together with his wife Kaz, he has worked with people from all walks of life, including kids and youth, homeless and business people, indigenous communities and suburban families, all who he is proud to call friends. As well as having the privilege of teaching the Bible every week, Pete considers the one-on-one opportunities he has to help bring healing to marriages, abuse survivors and emotionally wounded people the greatest honour of his life. Pete and Kaz have been married for over 30 years and they have three children.
