Ms. Jaime Renee Sansoucie

Jaime "JamJam" Sansoucie wrote her first book in December 2024, but she never would've imagined herself as an author! For well over a decade, she worked in the field of education. She has Bachelor's degrees in Child Development and Spanish and a Master's degree in Counseling. She holds certifications in School Counseling K-12, TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), and TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners). Over the years, Jaime has encountered many students who have faced significant trauma and struggled with a variety of mental health issues. She has used her training as well as relied on what she learned from her own difficult past to help her students to cope with and work through their concerns. Although Jaime felt confident and capable when assisting her students, she still struggled with overcoming issues of her own, particularly complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD). In April 2024, she joined Celebrate Recovery, where she would begin to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ with the help of SherSher (her co-star in The Adventures of JamJam and SherSher series). Ever since, she has had a fire burning within her to tell the world how Jesus delivered her from her pain and helped her to feel true peace and joy like she'd never felt before. This prompted her to begin her journey as a Christian children's author, and she cannot wait to see not only what God has in store for her career as a writer but also how God will use the JamJam and SherSher books to change the lives of children and teens around the world!
