关于作者

I've had many roles over my seventy plus years. A teacher, entrepreneur, political activist, mom of two wonderful daughters, and the best Nana I can be. I wrote business books, created award-wining training tools around diversity and inclusion, served on community boards, started an organization for women business owners, sold two businesses, and even manufactured travel backpacks for women, which sold out to the dismay of many fans. When my husband Larry was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's my most important role as WIFE took on new meaning. I had to create a strategy for living and loving through dementia in a way that matched how Larry and had lived for fifty-one years. Without realizing it, as his caregiver, I turned to the skills I coach and mentor in my work with women entrepreneurs---lead from your heart and your head. To The Last Dance, A Partner's Story of Living and Loving Through Dementia is my gift to those who are experiencing life with loved one diagnosed with a chronic and progressive disease. It's the book I wish I had. I only wish I could wrap it and tie it in a bow for others.
