Nina Porter

Nina Porter began creating extra large print word search puzzles when her mother’s eyesight had diminished to the point that she could no longer read any of the large print puzzle books that were available. Her mother's mind was still sharp, and she had always loved working word search puzzles. The worse her mother’s sight became, the larger the print grew... the puzzles became “supersized”! To ensure the puzzles provided maximum brain and memory stimulation, as well as enjoyment, Nina created each puzzle around a fun theme that would hopefully bring a smile to her mother’s face. Then she added bible verses, quotes, fun facts & bonus words to each Solutions page to make the puzzles even more entertaining and memory boosting. In memory of her mother, Nina founded Supersized for Challenged Eyes, and the puzzle books are dedicated to her and to everyone whose eyesight may be challenged but still want to enjoy fun and stimulating word search puzzles.
