Naomi Jamille

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Naomi Jamille is a highly esteemed bible study teacher with a passion for the Christian faith. Naomi received her degree in religious studies from New York University where she met influential mentors and teachers who deepened her faith in Jesus Christ. She is the author of a series of books that uncover the intersections between race, gender, and religion. Being a black woman, she is especially interested in how religion fits into our culture today and she enjoys teaching others the Christian faith. Off the page, Naomi enjoys staying active in community events with her local church in Baton Rouge. She is married with 4 beautiful children and enjoys gardening in her free time.
