Hello! I’m Nash Amber —a wife, home-educating mum, and a passionate storyteller dedicated to creating books that celebrate learning beyond the classroom. When I began educating my daughter at home, I noticed there were very few stories representing children like her—kids learning through family-led exploration, curiosity, and real-world experiences. My goal is to change that, crafting books that show children the joy, normalcy, and excitement of learning at home or wherever life takes them. With over a decade of experience as a communications professional, I approach writing with a strong sense of storytelling that connects with both children and parents. In 2024, I took an idea from spark to published book within just a few months, writing and designing a story that marked the beginning of a series dedicated to children of colour and those with diverse educational journeys. These are books that let kids know learning can happen anywhere—whether in the kitchen, the garden, or the local park. In each story, I aim to show how natural and rewarding home education can be, blending character-driven narratives with the everyday lessons that shape who we are. My books focus on values like kindness, curiosity, patience, and love, helping children understand important life lessons through experiences they can relate to.
