Nasim Bell

Born and raised in Zambia, Nasim developed a lifelong love for tea and a deep connection to nature. At fifteen, Nasim traveled to England for schooling, where teatime quickly became a cherished daily ritual, much like the tea breaks of her childhood. It was in England that she met her husband at a teaching college, and life eventually brought them both to Texas, where they now live. Whether climbing mango trees in Zambia (as the family’s best climber!) or enjoying tea with loved ones, Nasim’s Zambian roots have shaped her outlook on life and her commitment to protecting the environment. This dedication to nature and giving back was a guiding force in her journey. After founding the Hummingbird Tearoom, Nasim continues to support causes close to her heart, including The Fistula Foundation, For Kids’ Sake, and Pennies for Education. Through proceeds from her tea books, she carries on this spirit of generosity, sharing tea’s warmth and wisdom with readers everywhere.
