Growing up in the Midwest, I spent my early years in Ohio before moving to sunny Florida as a kid. The beaches, springs, and endless sunshine became my playground, and Florida quickly felt like home. I started my career in education as a middle school teacher, where every day was an adventure full of energy, laughs, and the occasional chaos that comes with working with kids. Later, I became a high school administrator, where I got to see the bigger picture of what it takes to support both teachers and students. Those experiences inspired me to create a startup called FolioBridge, which is focused on giving schools a common workspace to keep everyone on the same page and make life a little easier for teachers and school leaders alike. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my three daughters, whether it’s exploring nature, playing music, or just enjoying life together. I’ve hiked the John Muir Trail, which was a truly transformative experience, and trekked hundreds of miles along the Appalachian Trail. These adventures have taught me the value of perseverance and finding joy in the journey—lessons that I carry with me in everything I do. Whether I’m out on a trail or at home with my family, I’m always seeking ways to connect, grow, and create lasting memories.
