Nathan A. Stout

关于作者

Nathan A. Stout (1983) grew up in Layton, Utah on the edge of a forest. As a youth, he enjoyed both reading books and running around outside, exploring the oak tree forest and trying to build forts. He was especially inspired by the works of James Gurney, creator of Dinotopia. He would spend hours on end lying on the floor in front of Gurney's spreads, trying to capture a likeness of the book's beautiful illustrations. A father of three vibrant, energetic children, Nathan normally has his hands full but enjoys sharing stories and forts with his kids when he can catch up with them. When he's not with his wife and kids, he's usually at work, either filling prescriptions as a pharmacist or writing stories. "I can't help but write books." Nate offers, "I've discovered that when I don't share the stories that are bubbling up through my imagination my head feels like it will explode. There's medications for that but I'd rather not take them." Nathan enjoys different categories of fiction but the genre he identifies most with when creating stories is Children's Fiction. Nellybug is his first self-published series. He is currently working on developing the series as well as several other series that will soon be announced.
