Neal O. Michell

Neal Michell trained as an attorney and practiced law several years before attending seminary. Congregational and leadership development are his passions. He has led clergy conferences, diocesan leadership conferences, workshops, consulted with numerous churches and vestry retreats and staff development in over twenty-five domestic dioceses as well as Canada, Central and South America, and Africa. He and his wife, Varita, have planted a church, and Neal has coached several church planters. He has served as Canon for Strategic Development, Canon to the Ordinary in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and Dean of St. Matthew's Cathedral. He has taught courses in Pastoral Ministry at Nashotah House and served as Interim Rector in eight churches and currently writes for Covenant, a weblog of The Living Church Foundation and serves on the board of the Anglican Digest. Finally, he has Yogi Berra's autograph which Yogi signed on an article that Neal wrote for The Living Church.
