Nick Holmes

Nick Holmes has been passionate about music ever since he joined his father’s choir at the local church at the age of six. He has an English Degree from Oxford University and now works for the BBC making programmes for Radio 3 and 4, mostly about music. A former solicitor, he was a semi-professional classical baritone, and has played guitar in various rock bands with his brother. His first book, published by SonicBond in the ‘On track...’ series, is on the music of Porcupine Tree, who he finally got to see play live in November 2022. He blogs under the name Nick Holmes Music.
