Nick Schroeder

Head Football Coach and Head Strength and Speed Coach at Barron High School in Barron, Wisconsin. Co-Host of the “Constructing Culture” Podcast. Nick has been at Barron HS since 2023. He is passionate about helping people grow and be the best versions of themselves, particularly young people. He works with all of Barron High School’s athletic teams as the Head Strength and Speed Coach. Nick helped lead the Barron Football Program out of a 19 game losing streak and winning 7 games in 9 years to a 6-4 season in 2024 that included their first WIAA playoff appearance since 2012. Nick is from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He graduated from Arrowhead High School and played college football at Wisconsin Lutheran College before entering the coaching profession. He spent 3 years at Lakeland University and 3 years at Kettle Moraine High School. He has a BA in History and a MBA from Lakeland University along with a MS in Education from Concordia University Wisconsin. Nick currently resides in Barron, WI where he is a Social Studies teacher at the high school.
