Nicole Brown

Nicole Brown is a writer, social researcher, associate professor and director of Social Research& Practice and Education Ltd. She works on the cusp of research/practice/teaching. For Nicole, writing is a way of thinking, and a chance to engage and connect with others. By using humour and deep emotions she highlights inequalities, inequities, issues of social justice and cultural differences. Ultimately, her aim is to externalise what is often kept deeply buried within an individual and through that to convey to readers experiences of empathy that will hopefully have a lasting effect.
