About the Artist Nicole Chauvet Nicole Chauvet was born in Los Angeles, CA. She ended up living in Las Vegas throughout her 20's and beyond. Nicole is a passionate artist who believes in art as therapy. She has studied mental health counseling at the graduate level, and has years of experience in early childhood education. Nicole Chauvet is a Sex Trafficking survivor and advocate. She writes books about mental health, true crime, and other professions she has thoroughly researched. The koala population has declined drastically. They are now categorized as "functionally extinct." In honor of the fallen koalas and their declining population, she designed 50 koala pictures waiting to be colored in. She hopes to inspire social change by creating awareness about this issue through her art. If you love koalas, you will love this coloring book! She went on to create beautiful journals using her recent Project 50 koala designs that she colored in as well as other designs she created in 2019. Nicole plans on continuing the creation process and inspiring the world with her love of wildlife and art.
