Nicole Foster

Nicole Foster is a registered high school English and Special Education teacher with an additional major in Vocational Teaching and Adult Literacy. Nicole has taught at schools in Australia, Singapore, and Brunei, and then taught English for Aerospace Engineering at two universities in Thailand, before returning to Australia. With an M.Ed. in TESOL, Nicole has a personal interest in contributing to active research in Pasifika Education and travels to the Pacific Island Nations as much as possible. She teaches literacy and numeracy across the curriculum in Australia, assisting teachers, students, and businesses to simplify their writing. Prior to becoming a teacher, Nicole completed a Diploma of Applied Science in Natural Medicine and Business and worked as a regional Operations Manager for an airline incorporating the Pacific Island Nations. Outside of work, the author is a busy mother of a teenage son and a two-year-old puppy. On the weekends, she can be found at her son's cricket matches or catching up with friends at the beach.
