Nicole Thomson is an accomplished educator and a children's author who is passionate about social-emotional learning (SEL) and wellbeing. She obtained her Masters in Education and has an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree. Nicole has taught in Ontario for over 15 years in classrooms of all grade levels, from Kindergarten to her current role at the college level. With experience in early childhood education, and as a parent herself, Nicole has a broad understanding of the developmental needs of children and the importance of SEL in their overall growth and success. She draws on this expertise to design practical and engaging materials that help children develop social skills, emotional regulation, and a positive self-image. Nicole is passionate about teaching SEL skills to all students and founded "The Fulfilled Classroom Inc." where she creates effective resources and books that promote emotional intelligence, gratitude, and mindfulness in young learners. Her books and resources have been used by schools and families around the world. It is her mission to bring more gratitude and mindfulness to children, as well as their parents and teachers.
