
(2018) Writing as Nigel C. Williams and now also as Russ Geraghty for his horror series, Nigel Williams was born in November of 1960 in Abercrave in the Swansea Valley, South Wales. In 1981, he joined the Metropolitan Police and was posted to Brixton. In 1984, Nigel transferred to South Wales Police and worked for the rest of his fourteen years service as a traffic officer and an armed V.I.P and Special Escort Group driver, involved in many of the Royal visits to the Principality. His police service was cut short in 1994 when he was hit by a stolen car and fractured his spine. He was forced to retire but was awarded seven commendations during his service with the Welsh force. During his recovery, he returned to education and achieved a first-class honours degree in fine art. This was followed by a teaching qualification at Cardiff University and a Master's degree in fine art. His first full length novel "Eden Relics" (2012) reached number 8 in the Action and Adventure books on Amazon. He has also written "Welsh Gold" (2012) as N.C. Williams and a dark comedy thriller called "Fake Baked." (2013) He has also co-written "No Step Back" (2015) with Alan Lloyd MBE and the Terry McGuire crime series (published by Wordcatcher) "Unethical Conduct" (2016) with Arthur Cole, "Edge of Integrity", "Death and Depravity", "Angel of Death", "Nest of Vipers", "Night Hawker", "Redemption" and "Betrayal" in the Terry McGuire crime series of thrillers. As Russ Geragthy: Dead Legacy (2020) He has also written two sequels to "No Step Back," using the Frank Dix character in "SX63 - A Hard Place"(2015) and "SX64 - A Cold Place" (2015) Nigel keeps himself busy by watching rugby, reading, writing, painting and learning to fly. He is married to the very patient Caroline and has three children, a son-in-law, a granddaughter and a dog named Zac.
