Nilima Patel

Nilima Patel is a physician assistant, a wife, and a mother. As a new mom, she found herself balancing the joys of watching her son grow with the challenges of leaving him to go to work. These moments reminded her of the importance of hard work, dreams, and perseverance—values she hopes her son will one day understand. Bedtime reading with her son soon became her favorite part of the day, a special time to bond and share stories. However, Nilima struggled to find a book that truly reflected her feelings. Inspired by this, she decided to write "The Working Mama Bear" to capture the love and strength that all working mothers experience.
