Noëlle Sickels

Noëlle Sickels has written three historical novels as well as award-winning short stories. Her work centers on characters struggling to be true to themselves while engaged in complicated relationships with family, friends, and lovers and while responding to their time in history and their time of life. A native of New Jersey, she is a retired teacher living in Los Angeles with her husband and cat. Much of her non-writing time is happily taken up by her granddaughter, who also likes good stories.
