I am Obi Linton Former Baltimore City Detective, Child Advocate, Entrepreneur and now yes AUTHOR!! I love how that sounds! I've always wanted to create my own fantasy world in literature, and I've been inspired by countless authors, too many to name. But one memory from my childhood stands out—reading my first Stan Lee comic book. Back then, I was captivated by the incredible imagination and artistry in those alternate worlds. They provided an escape from the sometimes harsh realities of my own life. The idea that a kid like me could fly, possess superpowers, and face challenges with bravery gave me a strong sense of self-belief. As I continued to grow, my passion for storytelling deepened. I devoured books of all genres, each one contributing to the mosaic of my literary aspirations. From the epic fantasies that whisked me away to far-off realms, to the gritty tales of everyday heroes overcoming adversity, I found inspiration in the diverse voices of authors who painted the canvas of my imagination. The power of words became my refuge, a place where I could explore the boundless possibilities of human existence. It was through the written word that I learned to empathize with characters from all walks of life, to appreciate the complexity of the human experience, and to recognize the strength of resilience in the face of adversity. Now, as I embark on this journey of sharing my own creation with you, I carry with me the spirit of those who came before, the authors who kindled my love for storytelling, and the characters who instilled in me the belief that even in the most extraordinary of circumstances, one can find their own path to heroism. It is my hope that my words may serve as a vessel, offering you a brief respite from the ordinary and a chance to explore the extraordinary within yourself.
