Olajumoke Adenowo (Arc) is a multiple award-winning architect with over three decades of industry experience and has been described by Cable News Network (CNN) and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) as Africa's 'starchitect'. One of Africa's most outstanding architects and the only female in this elite category, she is an alumnus of a number of prestigious institutions including the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, the Yale School of Management, and the IESE Business School. Having a passion for national transformation and the advancement of women and youth, she is engaged in multiple philanthropies and oversees Awesome Treasures, an organisation she founded in 1999, which is recognised by the United Nations and affiliated to the Edmond De Rothschild Foundation. A recipient of several leadership awards, she is a speaker of note at various summits and global conferences and has served on the juries and panels of global initiatives such as The Cartier Initiative for Women Awards. Besides overseeing her multi-award winning architectural firm, AD Consulting, which is Nigeria's most internationally awarded firm, she was appointed a visiting professor at Germany’s leading architecture program, Technische Universität München (TUM) in Germany in 2019. Olajumoke has been married to Olukorede for over two decades and they have two young men.
