Olivia Parr-Rud is an award-winning and best-selling author, speaker, and former data scientist. After her long corporate career, she realized she was not ready to retire. And she felt that she had gained much wisdom that could help others. She saw that many of her peers felt the same way. So, she created Quantum Wisdom Institute™, an educational platform dedicated to sharing wisdom. Through Quantum Wisdom Institute™, Olivia offers a group mentoring program designed to guide inspired seniors to access, package, and share their wisdom with the world so that they can make a positive impact and leave a powerful legacy. Her new book, 77 Secrets to Amazing Aging, traces her journey from a tragic childhood through healing on many levels to the wisdom she’s gained today. She feels that so many of us have gained wisdom from our journeys through life. In this time of great transformation, the world needs our wisdom. EARLIER BOOKS: Olivia's earlier books were inspired by her many years of research and study in the areas of Data Mining and Business Intelligence led to the writing of her first book, Data Mining Cookbook, Modeling for Acquisition, Risk and Customer Relationship Management (Wiley 2001) - a #1 international best-seller. Seeing a larger need for blending analytics with softer skills, she was inspired to research the correlation between technological advances and the increasing need for higher emotional intelligence. This led to her research into the link between organizational culture and complexity science and the writing of her second book, Business Intelligence Success Factors, Aligning for Success in a Global Economy (Wiley/SAS, 2009). She explores numerous areas including chaos theory, evolutionary biology, quantum physics, systems thinking, spiritual teachings, and love. Her third book, Business Analytics Using SAS® Enterprise Guide® and SAS® Enterprise Miner™, A Beginner's Guide (SAS, 2014) won BEST OF SHOW at the Carolina Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. Her book, LOVE@WORK, The Essential Guide to a Life of Inspired Purpose, suggests that creating a love-based culture is a powerful way to grow profits. Throughout the book, she shares her personal story and maps out a path for all of us to show up fully in a culture of love. The LOVE@WORK Method™ provides a roadmap and exercises for the teachings in LOVE@WORK, The Essential Guide to a Life of Inspired Purpose. Olivia offers keynotes and workshops in the areas of communication, innovation, change management, team building, and whole-hearted leadership. Olivia is a certified Holacracy Practitioner and Master Certified in Neurolinguistic Programming, Hypnosis, and Quantum Time Technique. Olivia has a BA in Mathematics from Gettysburg College and an MS in Decision and Information Systems, with a concentration in Statistics, from Arizona State University.
