Onno van der Hart

Onno van der Hart, PhD, is professor emeritus of psychopathology of chronic traumatization, Department of Clinical and Healthy Psychology, Utrecht University, Utrecht, Netherlands. He is also a psychologist/psychotherapist in the Netherlands who specializes in psychotraumatology, in particular with regard to complex trauma-related mental disorders. Both nationally and internationally, he is a clinical consultant on diagnosis and treatment of complex trauma-related disorders and he presents lectures, workshops and courses on complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, phase-oriented treatment of chronic traumatization; he has previously presented workshops on hypnosis, strategic psychotherapy, and family therapy.
