I have 20+ years of experience with data. Analyzing it, transforming it, curating it, and processing it using a wide range of technology from mainframe systems, clusters in public cloud, to IoT edge devices. I have wide ranging experience architecting data solutions for multi-terabyte-sized data sets for healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, and retail organizations. I cut my teeth on financial services data in the Department of Defense while working as a civilian and then spent 7 years with a global analytics company serving retail & healthcare customers. There I helped transform the data services organization from an IT cost center to the epicenter of value creation for the company utilizing automated processing, a global workforce, and modern technology with distributed computing platforms. After that I spent a year with a large consulting firm helping healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing organizations with distributed computing, cloud, predictive analytics, and other complex data solutions. At Microsoft, from 2016 to 2018 I was dedicated to helping healthcare organizations be successful with cloud solution deployments as an architect focusing on data warehousing, machine learning, advanced analytics & AI. With a distinct healthcare focus, I helped organizations extract more value from data while spending less by utilizing the cloud. I now help global customers in Europe, Middle East, and Africa to be successful with database, data warehousing, machine learning & advanced analytics services in the cloud. Helping customers maximize the benefits of using the cloud is what I do. Throughout my career I have created and led global technical teams in a globally distributed environment. I am passionate about what I do and always enjoy learning about challenges others are facing.
