OSCAR ANTONIO MARTÍNEZ MOLINA (Yajalón, Chiapas, Mexico. March 6, 1958) Resident of Mexico City He is an Orthopedic Surgeon from UNAM. Co-author of the book: Pathologies of the shoulder (Ed. Alfil) He has participated in the writing workshops: Autobiographical Writing Laboratory. And Literature and violence in the Contemporary Story of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters UNAM. And from the short story course at the Sogem School of Writers. He was one of the authors in the anthology Más cuentos irónicos (Ed. Selector). His stories, The old professor of narrative, Possesses of lust, and the cry of Independence of Mexico, were published in the magazine El Búho, directed by Professor René Avilés Fabila. The books: Aromas de café (collection of stories) and Le juro que fue la luna (collection of stories) currently published on Amazon. Recently his Le juro que fue la luna, was presented as part of the Coyoacán en tus letras project, by the Culture Direction of the Coyoacán mayor's office in Mexico City. As a writer he has been inclined towards the genre of the short story. He publishes his stories in the following magazines and electronic Blogs: Margencero Magazine (Almiar), Mexican Doctors for Culture and the Arts, International Creativity, and Fuentetaja Writing Club. He has published the books -I swear it was the moon- and -Aromas de café- in 2019. His book of stories and medical anecdotes: Homini et Medicus (Man and doctor) was presented at the FIL (Guadalajara International Fair) in 2021. and Kuren Monogatari (Stories of cranes), was presented at the FILCO (International Fair of Coyoacán CdMx) in 2022. This year 2023, he publishes his latest book, Así son las noches de los viejos. In the twilight!, the old man resumes the noble habit of letting go of weeping, not because he returns again to childhood, but because, tears, wipe the soul and lighten the pace.
