It’s funny. Though I have often said that I bleed ink and that my bones are made of graphite (and by often, I mean once...in passing...in a dream), all my writing skills seem to desert me when it comes time to write a bio of any kind. I was born and raised in the suburbs of the South and have worked as a ghostwriter, an editor, a copy editor, a journalist, and a writing tutor. None of these, however, have ever given me the joy and sense of freedom that writing fiction does. It is what I live for.
