Paddy Manning is an Australian investigative journalist and writer, currently working on “Sly Fox: The Unauthorised Biography of Lachlan Murdoch”, to be published by Black Inc in 2022 (check it out here: https://www.blackincbooks.com.au/news/black-inc-publish-lachlan-murdoch-biography). Paddy has written five books including, most recently, "Body Count: How Climate Change is Killing Us" (Simon & Schuster, 2020), winner of the non-fiction prize in the 2021 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. He is a contributing editor for The Monthly magazine, and over a 20-year career in journalism has worked for ABC Radio National’s Background Briefing program, independent newssite Crikey.com.au, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian Financial Review and The Australian, and was founding publishing editor of "Ethical Investor" magazine. He lectures in investigative journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney, and is undertaking a doctorate in the history of News Corporation in Australia, 1923-2023. He lives in Sydney.
