Paige DeFreece

Paige DeFreece is a married mother of three kids, living in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated from The University of Tennessee with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting. She earned her CPA certificate in 1991, working in both the public and private sector for several years. It was not until 2003, after deciding to become a stay-at-home mom, that Paige learned of her abilities and interests in writing and art. While satisfying her artistic side through several mediums (3D plaster, clay, painting, sculpted cakes, designing themed rooms for kids, etc), she had not yet taken the time to invest in her love of writing. The desire to write a novel began taking precedence over all other projects. She realized that a great amount of creativity could be accomplished in front of a laptop - with little mess or expense. It was a blessing for the entire family. Ideas for the Look Away Series came to Paige while resting one day. She already had one non-fiction novel partially written and three children’s books swirling around in her mind. Sarah and Ben wouldn’t wait, though.
