PAM ROSENER PRESIDENT/CEO & FOUNDER YOUNG MEN’S SERVICE LEAGUE Pam Rosener, CEO and founder of Young Men’s Service League, a national non-profit that provides high school young men and their moms opportunities to serve those in need in their communities. Her goal is to bring the YMSL experience to as many communities as possible to provide YMSL’s unique service, learning, and leadership opportunities to young men and their moms across the country. YMSL currently serves 1900 + hours a day of community service. There are approximately 30,000 YMSL members collectively serving over 600,000 volunteer hours per year in the local communities. Pam was inspired to start the first chapter of the Young Mens Service League (YMSL) in 2001 with her sister-in-law Julie Roener and a few friends. There was nothing available for mothers and their high school-aged sons to do together that would help them spend time together while nurturing their son’s heart for service. YMSL began with the Plano, Texas, Chapter with Pam serving as President and Director. The mission of YMSL caught on quickly, soon incorporated, and began to expand through Texas and to other states. YMSL became a national non-profit in 2006. As of the begining of 2024, there are over 160 chapters in 22 states. Under Pam’s leadership and vision, YMSL has been developing young men into compassionate, servant leaders for over twenty years. She delights in seeing moms and sons deepen their relationships through service while growing personally through their leadership roles. She actively mentors chapter board members and champions their accomplishments. Pam's passion for the organization has never faltered. Her favorite philanthropic effort is the annual Ultimate Gift Event. She is continually amazed by what we as a group can accomplish when we combine our efforts. Pam is dedicated to the expansion of YMSL and wants to grow to 250 chapters by 2024. Originally from Potomac, Maryland, Pam and her husband live in Plano, TX. She has 4 children, a daughter and 3 sons. Each of her sons went through the YMSL program. She also has 5 grandchildren 3 of which will become YMSL members in the future. When not running YMSL, Pam is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Apex. She and her husband are now empty nesters and she plans to devote any additional time to YMSL and its growth as well as continuing to develop her real estate business Pam loves tennis and has played competitively for 20 years, no Thursday meetings for her! She also loves the beach and the mountains; time with friends and spending time with her grandchildren.
