Pamela Cockerill

After obtaining a B.Sc from Nottingham University I trained as a journalist on the Yorkshire Post. While my children were growing up I took up ghost-writing and was lucky enough to be able to immerse myself in several different and fascinating worlds, ranging from Formula One to horse-racing to wildlife conservation. I see my role as ghost-writer as enabling someone to tell their own story in their own distinctive voice by weaving their anecdotes and memories into a flowing narrative. My aim is to capture the interest of people who may be unfamiliar with the world described as well as those close to that world. If, when the book is finished, the subject believes they have written it themselves, then I have done a good job!
