Pamela Cooper-White, MDiv, PhD, LCPC is the Christiane Brooks Johnson Professor Emerita of Psychology and Religion and Dean Emerita, Union Theological Seminary, New York, an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of New York, and a licensed psychotherapist. She holds two PhDs, from Harvard University (historical musicology) and the Chicago Institute for Clinical Social Work (in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and research), and was the 2013-14 Fulbright-Freud Scholar in Vienna, Austria. An award-winning author, she has published 10 books and over 100 articles and book chapters, She is active on several editorial, academic and psychoanalytic boards, and is frequent speaker nationally and internationally.
