Pamela Pease

I have always enjoyed playing with words, images, and three-dimensional forms to communicate ideas. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture & Art, I worked as a sportswear designer in the Los Angeles apparel industry. The company I founded received a Design Award-American Style for our work. Following a move from California to New York, I pursued a Master's degree in Graphic Design and Illustration at Syracuse University. Projects I created as part of that program led directly to the founding of Paintbox Press. I have written, illustrated, and designed interactive pop-up books on world-class events, including Macy's Parade and the Tour de France. I am currently working on a series of books on Design targeted to aspiring young designers age 10+. My love of design and books informs every aspect of my life. I hope readers of all ages enjoy interacting with books from Paintbox Press as much as I enjoy creating them!
