Pat Matuska Sciuchetti

Pat Matuska Sciuchetti grew up hearing the stories of her Bohemian great-grandparents homesteading on the Nebraska prairie and wanted to know more. "Back to Bohemia: One Family's Story" tells the story of Pat's search for her Old World ancestors and the experience of returning to the small Czech farming village where those ancestors lived as serfs in the 1600s. Pat is a former newspaper reporter whose writing has appeared in Northwest publications including the Oregonian, the Spokesman-Review, the Bulletin, and the Seattle-Times. She lives with her husband and children in Washington State.
