Patricia Borlenghi was born in London to Italian parents and now divides her time between East Anglia and Italy. She worked in children's publishing for several years and is the author of several children's books. Zaira, her first historical novel for adults, describes the area of Northern Italy where she now lives. It is the first title of a trilogy. Her second novel, Clarisse, is a contemporary novel and the second title in the trilogy. Dorek, about a deaf man, is the final title in the trilogy and was published in March 2015. Patricia set up Patrician Press at the end of 2012. She is publishing fiction and poetry, including her own work and that of other authors. The books are produced in both paperback and e-book editions. The children's imprint, Pudding Press, was set up in 2015 publishing illustrated books and fiction. Patricia has written two of the titles: A to Z - an animal alphabet in five languages and The Necklace.
