Patricia C. Franks

Dr. Franks, Professor Emerita, San Jose State University, teaches courses in Enterprise Content Management and Digital Preservation. She is a Certified Records Manager, Certified Archivist, Information Governance Professional, and Certified Information Governance Officer. She is the author, co-author, editor, and co-editor of numerous books, book chapters, and journal articles related to records and information management. Her research interests lie in the area of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain distributed ledger technologies, and their impact on archives, records management, and information governance.
